Experience and skills required for the job

•	Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
•	Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales within the FMCG industry, including at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
•	Strong knowledge of FMCG retail, wholesale, and distribution channels.
•	Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
•	Excellent leadership, team management, and coaching skills.
•	Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
•	Proficiency in MS Office and CRM or sales management tools.
•	Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Job duties

•	Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organizational goals and market expansion.
•	Lead, mentor, and motivate sales teams across assigned regions or channels.
•	Manage key accounts, distributors, and retail partners to ensure high service levels and strong business relationships.
•	Review and analyze sales reports to identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps.
•	Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure coordinated execution of business plans.
•	Plan and manage the sales budget, including forecasting and target setting.
•	Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, pricing, and merchandising strategies.
•	Ensure the team meets KPIs related to sales volume, distribution, visibility, and product availability.
•	Oversee trade promotions, in-store activities, and merchandising standards.
•	Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.
